01What is included in my puppy’s development investment?+
Your selected experience covers the puppy and the care and training specified for that homecoming age. Extended programs include food, daily care, routine veterinary care, scheduled age-appropriate vaccinations, routine parasite care, daily enrichment and socialization, progress updates, ear-posting maintenance when applicable, and the owner-transition instruction specified in your package. Each extended experience builds upon the previous level.
02Is ear cropping included?+
No. Ear cropping is always optional and an additional $800, regardless of package. For cropped puppies, routine posting and ear maintenance during an extended stay are included. Healing and posting needs vary; your homecoming plan will reflect your puppy’s progress.
03Will my puppy be fully potty trained?+
We build consistent potty routines and age-appropriate foundations. Older puppies generally have had more time to practice, but complete house-training reliability is not guaranteed. Expect a transition period, supervision, and consistent routines in your home.
04What training accomplishments can I expect?+
Expect the care, instruction, and practice outlined in your selected package, documented through progress updates and your handover materials. Progress depends on age, temperament, health, environment, and continued practice. Perfect obedience, complete house-training reliability, and off-leash reliability are not guaranteed.
05Will my puppy earn AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy or CGC?+
These are developmental goals, not promised titles. Preparation and coursework are included where specified; graduation or a title depends on class availability, eligibility, the dog’s readiness, and the relevant evaluation. Advanced opportunities are considered individually based on aptitude and suitability.
06Are food and veterinary expenses included?+
Extended-development prices include food, routine veterinary care, scheduled age-appropriate vaccinations, and routine parasite care during the stay. Rabies vaccination follows applicable law; Wisconsin requires vaccination by five months. Unexpected major medical expenses, emergency treatment, and specialist care are addressed separately in the extended-development agreement, rather than treated as unlimited inclusions.
07Can I visit or participate in training?+
We welcome a conversation about appropriate visits and participation. Scheduling, puppy age, health precautions, and the training plan guide what is suitable. Your package’s specified owner-transition instruction helps you carry the routines and cues into life at home.
08What happens if my puppy needs additional training time?+
We review progress with you and discuss a suitable next step. Any additional stay, training scope, costs, or revised homecoming date must be agreed in writing. No extra time or charge is added without that conversation and agreement.
09Can I reserve an extended-development package before the litter is born?+
You may inquire about your preferred experience before birth. Extended-development placements are limited and subject to suitability and availability. The litter reservation and extended-development arrangements are confirmed separately in writing; a package inquiry does not promise a particular puppy, homecoming date, or training outcome.
10What is included in the premium Homecoming Collection?+
The Life-Ready and The Distinguished include an appropriately sized 40”+ Impact collapsible crate, the Halo Collar used during training, a Säker collar and leash, an appropriately fitted Säker Bomber harness, individually suitable training collars or alternatives, personalized documentation, a cue reference guide, training videos, and owner-transition instructions. Halo subscription fees after transfer are the owner’s responsibility.
