Once approved, your path depends on whether an advance pick position is available.

Reserve first, second, or third pick within your preferred gender. Order is set by when deposits are received and accepted.

Approval without overpromisingPuppy selection
The six reserved families select first, in pick order. Any remaining puppies are then offered to waitlisted families in order.
WHY ONLY SIX?
A litter cannot be promised
before it arrives.
Litter size and gender balance are never guaranteed. Limiting advance reservations to the first three picks of each gender lets us offer meaningful positions without accepting deposits for puppies who may not be born.

Gender + pick order
Your reservation secures a selection position within a gender—not a specific color, marking, or temperament. We listen carefully to preferences, but never promise a combination the litter may not produce.
If the litter changes
Deposits may be accepted before pregnancy is confirmed. If your gender and position cannot be fulfilled, your signed agreement explains transfer priority and its refund timeframe.
One clear channel
Families who deposit through Good Dog complete payment there. Direct reservations remain direct. Ear cropping, transport, and other elective services are separate.
Placement stays personal
Haus of Hound may decline a placement when it is not in a puppy's best interest. The signed agreement governs transfers, cancellations, refunds, and placement requirements.
